Sniped!

I'm living a virtual nightmare. My domain name has been sniped. Yes, sniped! Yesterday morning it was mine. I opened my website and everything was fine. Yesterday afternoon, a friend notified me that my website opened up to a "Go Daddy" page. Sure enough, when I tried to open it, that's what came up. I called the hosting company, but apparently not only was my domain stolen, but somehow my password and pin number were erased in the process. Since I couldn't provide a "valid" password or pin number, they couldn't give me any information.

So ... the site I have owned for several years, and sunk hundreds upon hundreds of hours of labor into is gone. Just gone.

Fortunately, the site itself is still intact, and can be accessed. I'll include that information at the end of this post. Trouble is, every single piece of marketing material I own - and there are lots of pieces - contains the information from that domain: the domain itself (www.delialatham.com) and the e-mail attached to it (delia@delialatham.com). So it is basically rendered useless, unless I want to cross out old information and write in new, and we all know how unprofessional that looks. Ugh!

All of that said, even though my last post on this blog stated my intention of taking a break for awhile, I am posting my new information here for reference. Please ... if you know others who ever go onto my website or might have a reason to e-mail me, please pass it on. And be sure to update your own records.

New web address: www.delialatham.net

E-mail: delia (@)delialatham (.) net (You'll have to remove the parentheses, of course. Just trying to protect myself from further spamming and/or sniping attacks.)

Thanks a bunch!
