Wow, what a good book!

I just finished Amy Wallace's Enduring Justice, and let me tell you, it was well worth the read. Amy covers some touchy topics, but they are expertly handled and the book is very well written. This third novel in the Defenders of Hope Series releases April 14, but can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.

If you like Christian fiction with a suspenseful edge and a powerful punch, come check out my review of this excellent novel on My Book Bag.

Family Time

My brother, Dale, and his wife, Elaine, are here with us from California. They have their beautiful little granddaughter, Samantha, with them. How we are enjoying their visit! (Other than being tired from all the running.) Because of course we can't miss a single moment with them while they're nearby, we have been going everywhere they go - to each of Elaine's scheduled visits to her own family in the central U.S., and to Dale's and my family as well. So it's been hectic, but hey - there's something to be said for being trapped inside a vehicle for mile after mile! You definitely have time to say everything that needs to be said, and then some.

I have a book to edit, chapters of my own to write, some bookmark designs to work on, and a house that needs attention. But you tell me: What's more important right now ... spending time with my family or doing the "duty" stuff? I get first vote, and I say family wins every time!

Back in OK

We're safely home after our emergency trip to California. Thanks to all of you who were praying for us! There and back is...well, a lot of miles. It's a long road, and God was with us. I'm so grateful!

My mother-in-law finished her earthly race and left us to obtain the prize she's been striving for all these years. We will miss her, but...wow! What an awesome life she must be living now!

I'm working on this month's newsletter, which is late being posted because I wasn't home to handle it. Be watching for it to be posted in the next few days on The Bookshelf.

By the way...have I told you lately that I love you? 'Cause I do. All of you who take the time to stop in here and read the meanderings of my mind, you are appreciated! Some of you actually leave your comments, letting me know you've been here and what's going on in your own thoughts - that, too, is appreciated more than you can possibly know! Thank you for being friends, readers, and part of my family in Christ!
